Sunset, wildlife, then dinner. How to time your evening in Manuel Antonio — and reserve a table before the high-season rush takes it.
Dinner in Manuel Antonio deserves a little planning. Between park closing time, sunset and a compact restaurant scene, the best tables are spoken for early — especially from December through April.
When to reserve
In high season, reserve two to three days ahead for a prime 7:00 PM table. In green season, same-day reservations are usually possible, but booking still guarantees the time and seating you want. We serve daily, 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM.
Build the evening around the light
- 5:00 PM — sunset over the Pacific from the hills above the beach.
- 6:30 PM — dinner, unhurried, with time for starters and dessert.
- 8:30 PM — a slow walk back; the road is quiet and the air finally cools.
Ordering for a table
Indian dinners work best shared. A good rule for four people: two tandoori starters, two curries with contrasting characters — one creamy, one spiced — a biryani, a dal, and breads for everyone. Add raita to cool the table and a chutney to sharpen it. The menu is organised so you can plan this in advance.
Tell us what you need
When you make a reservation, let us know about allergies, vegan diets, children, or a birthday. Notes given at booking reach the kitchen before you arrive, which is the difference between a good dinner and a smooth one.
